Case Study Three:EndurAlloy ESP Pump Stages deliver Excellent ROI
Situation: A submersible pump was removed from a well due to a failure caused by heavy sand erosion of the pump stages. Pump ran approximately 1 year prior to failure. Workover cost, including pump replacement, was approximately $200,000.
Action: The client reinstalled the pump complete with 82 EndurAlloy boronized stages. Pump is still in service after 3 years and 3 months. It is pumping 2400 M3/day (110% efficiency)
Result: The customer has saved 3 workovers to date at a cost of $100,000 each, as well as the cost of replacing the pump at $100,000 each. This represents a savings of $600,000 on an investment of approximately $5,000.00 (the cost of EndurAlloy treatment for 82 ESP stages).
