Fred Chinski, President and Chief Executive Officer
Fred Chinski is President, Chief Executive Officer, a Director and the founder of Endurance Technologies Inc. Fred was responsible for developing the CVD technology for diffusion alloying down hole production tubing and casing for the oilfield as well as a number of products developed for use in the coal fired utility sector.
Fred also designed and fabricated the high temperature furnaces for processing extended tubular lengths, the rolling and straightening equipment and other custom equipment enabling out current production processes.
Prior to the inception of Endurance Technologies Inc., Fred was employed by Mogas Industries and Securamax International as North American Sales Manager.
Fred provides over 25 years of experience in the oilfield, coal fired power utilities and refining industries.
Peter Kneeland, Vice-President Finance
Peter Kneeland, Vice President Finance and Corporate Secretary, joined Endurance Technologies in 1998. Peter is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements, administration, and corporate planning including the preparation of annual operating budgets.
From 1996 to 1998 Peter served as Vice President Finance of Dynafrac Well Services and the Valens Group of Companies and prior to 1996 was Vice President Finance of Norjet Geotechnologies Inc.
Peter holds a CGA designation and has a MBA and BSc.
Jim Stewart, Quality Control Manager and Research and Development
Jim Stewart has served as Manager of QC and R&D since February 2000. Jim is responsible for designing of equipment, quality assurance and research and development.
Jim is a P Eng. in mechanical engineering with a strong work background in manufacturing environments. Prior to 2000 Jim was a Product Engineer (Engineering Supervisor) at Standen's Limited and prior to 1991 a Computer Programmer at Software Dynamics.
John McFarland, Corporate Business Director
John McFarland is the Corporate Business Director for Endurance Technologies. He has more than twenty-five years experience in the Oil Refining, Chemical, Petrochemical and Gas Processing Industries. John was President and CEO of Dantec Corporation for ten years and prior to that was President and General Manager of Ensr Operations Canada Ltd. He spent many years in Canada and the USA with Norton Chemical Process Products (now St. Gobain Norpro).
John studied Mechanical Engineering at Belfast Technical College in his native N. Ireland and has an Executive Development Diploma from Babson College Mass. USA.
George Bayer, Technical Consultant
George worked for almost nine years as Metallurgist and Technical Manager at Alon Surface Technologies, Inc. in Leechburg, Pennsylvania where he held primary responsibility for the hands-on development of four new commercial diffusion and thermal spray coating products and processes, as well as support for production, quality, and technical marketing efforts. Currently George is also employed as a Senior Materials Engineer at an independent failure analysis and corrosion testing laboratory in the northeastern United States.
George has B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry, and an M.Sc. degree in Energy Resources and Metallurgical Engineering, all from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Ph.D. in General Engineering from Kennedy-Western University. George's Ph.D. dissertation, “Development of a Chromium-Silicon Codiffusion Coating for Carbon Steels”, was based on a portion of his research program at Alon.
George has authored or co-authored more than 25 technical publications, holds five U.S. patents, and is a member of ASM International.
Jim Wyatt, Business Development Coordinator
Jim joined Endurance Technologies in September of 2002 in our Business Development Department. He has recently become the Sales Coordinator and works mainly on developing our Alonizing market along with the coordinating of all sales for our Alonizing and Boronizing processes. Jim coordinates information, pricing and quoting for all of our Alonizing customers both domestically and in the International market place.
Jim brings to Endurance over 20 years of selling experience throughout the Western Canadian Oil & Gas Industry from field levels to Corporate management levels. His sales experience has been enhanced through numerous professional sales training courses. Along with his sales experience, Jim has several years of field operating experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
