Endurance Technologies Inc. is a manufacturing company dedicated to servicing the oil and gas industry. We are an industry leader in providing high performance, wear resistant, tubular and casing solutions to prevent erosion, corrosion, and abrasion.

We are currently looking for production workers for manual labor roles. Must be comfortable working in an industrial / manufacturing environment where heat and weather are factors that influence everyday operations.

LOCATION: Calgary SE (Foothills Industrial)

POSITION START DATE: Immediately

JOB OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for a variety of labor intensive functions related to the processing of heat treated tubing and metal parts. You will be required to work in an industrial / manufacturing environment where heat, dirt and weather are factors that influence everyday operations.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full time, Afternoon & Day Shifts

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

• Handling oil and gas production tubing of various diameters
• Prepare production tubing for processing including cleaning & packing / unpacking
• Cleaning machinery and equipment
• Operating heavy equipment (forklift, overhead crane - training will be provided)
• Use of hand and electric tools (5" grinder, drill press, power tongs, files, hammers)
• Ensure production requirements are met and job tasks are completed on time
• Read, understand, and follow all Safe Work Practices and Procedures
• Acquire and use knowledge in order to perform all job tasks efficiently and safely

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A safety conscious individual who understands and demonstrates safe work commitment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and tasks
• Ability to follow and communicate written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable in manual handling and performing physical tasks
• Able to adapt to changing circumstances and make suggestions for improvement.
• Successful candidates will be required to pass a FIT for work test.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Grade 10, or equivalent
• Experience working in an industrial / manufacturing environment is an asset
• Experience operating overhead crane and heavy equipment is an asset

WORKING CONDITIONS

• You will be required to perform some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with getting dirty as part of their daily job
• Able to perform work in a variety of different environments (heat, cold, dust, dirt)
• Required to work outside in all weather conditions
